Swedish-born Andy Salvanos is a leading exponent of the Chapman Stick, an instrument that blends elements of guitars and tuned percussion. Having built a global audience as a busker, Andy has also been a regular performer at festivals and events throughout his adopted homeland Australia, including the National Folk Festival, Cygnet Folk Festival, and Adelaide Guitar Festival. Described by one reviewer as “the sound of the world”, Andy’s music has found its way into independent films such as the French-produced "The Chookman", numerous health & mindfulness projects, and a substantial listener base online. He is currently recording his eighth full-length album, and continues to perform regularly around Adelaide, South Australia.
